RAWALPINDI: Security forces involved in operation Khyber-3, clearing the high mountain hideouts of terrorists around the Rajgal area made headway over the weekend and have occupied mountain passes and are now consolidating their positions, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing of the Pakistan Army. 

Forces on Monday recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition including improvised explosive devices (IED) during a search operation in Damo Drub area. 

The ISPR release adds, that during operation Khyber-3 which was launched last week a total of 40 terrorists have been killed and 21 have been injured. Meanwhile security forces destroyed 43 terrorists' hideouts in ground and aerial operations.
