ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Senator Aitzaz Ahsan once again came under fire over several allegations including providing a list of Sikh leaders to India and acquiring LPG quota in the past.

"Aitzaz Ahsan has never furnished an explanation over the allegations of providing a list of the Sikh leaders to India, who were leading the Khalistan movement," slammed a spokesman for Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, questioning how can such a person level allegations against others.

"The man (Ahsan), who acquired LPG quota from former PM Benazir Bhutto in 1989, now keeps lecturing the nation against corruption."

He said that the furniture, carpets at his (Ahsan) home all are because of a property tycoon.

"Ahsan prior to slinging mud on others should once look at his own character and actions," the spokesman added.

The diatribe was responded by Aitzaz Ahsan saying that Nisar, after having been isolated within his party, has joined the 'Galam Galoch brigade (group of people hurling abuses)'.

"He (Nisar) advises me to become a good citizen; I have paid Rs30 million tax, while Nisar's party chief and premier paid only Rs2.1 million," said the PPP senator.
