ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League –N (PMLN) leader Daniyal Aziz on Friday further raised the political temperature by alleging that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has invited armed members of jihadi groups to join his sit-in on November 2.

“In a consultative meeting of Jihadi groups, did he not call them to ask for 500 armed members of every group in his dharna,” Aziz claimed. “I demand him to give his clarification on this issue.”

While addressing a press conference, the federal legislator further alleged that the PTI leader discreetly invested Zakat donations for Shaukat Khanum Hospital in offshore companies in Dubai.

Earlier, while speaking to the media outside his Bani Gala residence, the PTI chief said that the perpetuated news of members of banned orgainsations attending the sit-in was a move to defame Pakistan Army and his party.

“There is a conspiracy underway to hide the corruption of the Sharif family. They are maligning the country and the Pakistan Army internationally for their own interest. Dialogue regarding the sit-in will only be held when we arrive in Islamabad on November 2,” Khan said.
