Load Wedding nominated for best feature at Jaipur International Film Festival

Pakistani film Load Wedding released earlier this year has been nominated for the best feature film at the Jaipur International Film Festival.

The 11th edition of the Jaipur International Film Festival will be held in India from January 18 to 22, 2019.

The film’s director Nabeel Qureshi confirmed the nomination on Twitter.

“Amazing achievement when we can hold our own with the best of them. Well done to the entire LW team,” tweeted Mehwish Hayat.

The film starring Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles took viewers on a joyful ride while touching the social stigmas attached to weddings in our culture.

Load Wedding was a joint venture of Geo Films and Filmwala Pictures. The film was released on Eid-ul-Azha this year.
