SHARJAH: PSL team Lahore Qalandars suffered another blow on Saturday when its wicket keeper Brendan Taylor was ruled out of remaining matches due to an injury.

Taylor was injured during Qalandars’ chase against Multan Sultans on Friday evening. He was immediately taken off the field and he didn’t return to bat.

Sources reveal that Taylor has a calf muscle tear which is likely to keep him out for four to six weeks. Subsequently, he has been ruled out of the remainder of PSL games.

Qalandars are likely to include Netherlands’ Ryan ten Doeschate to replace him.

The 38-year-old is currently considered to be among the best players produced by a non-Test playing country.
