ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday that he will give good news to the nation within three weeks time in his brief informal discussion with senior journalists before welcoming his Malaysian counterpart Mahathir Muhammad at the Nur Khan Airbase.

The premier alleged that former prime minister laundered million of rupees under the name of his children.

He said that the government is facing difficulties due to the indecisiveness of civil servants, they believe that the NAB doesn't have enough personnel to investigative large-scale inquiries.

The prime minister said that the people will not be involved in the financial embezzlement if the NAB is successful to put corrupt elements behind bars. PM Khan said that its unfortunate people like Maulana Fazlur Rehman have become the custodian of religion.

He said that the previous government didn't take decisive actions on the policies under the National Action Plan.

"There will be security threats until the Indian general election," he said. "There are intelligence reports of possibleĀ terror incidents in Baluchistan post-Pulwama attack."
