‘We are Indian, we don’t have a religion’, Shah Rukh Khan wrote in Suhana’s school form

Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan has expressed his views on religion saying the topic does not get discussed in his household.

On the sets of Dance Plus 5, Shah Rukh Khan, who celebrated three years of success of his film Raees, said: “There is no such thing as Muslim-Hindu between us as we have never discussed religion at home. I am a Muslim and my wife is Hindu and our children are Indian.”

Khan, who often insists that religion is not imposed inside his house and his family celebrates all festivals, went on to reminisce his daughter Suhana’s school days when once she came to him and asked about their religion.

“When they (my children) went to school, they had to write their religion. My daughter came to me once and asked ‘what is our religion?’ I simply wrote in her form that we are Indian, we do not have a religion.”

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Zero opposite Katrina Kaif.
