Sattar claims ‘third participant’ of CM House meeting behind anti-MQM ‘script’
KARACHI: Following claims and counter-claims over Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) alleged links with India’s RAW, Dr Farooq Sattar on Thursday night said the ‘third participant’ besides Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Asif Ali Zardari of a meeting held at CM House on Wednesday is behind the ‘script’.

Speaking in Geo News program “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath”, he said that the person should be identified to understand the motive behind today’s press conference by SSP Malir Rao Anwar.

Sattar said the party was investigating the identity of that person.

“We are certain that the script [against MQM] was written during last night’s meeting,” he added.

Earlier in the day, SSP Malir Anwar claimed that two terror suspect arrested on Wednesday night belong to the MQM, which he alleged had links with Indian spy agency RAW to destabilise Pakistan.

Dismissing the allegations later at a press conference organised by the Rabita Committee, Haider Abbas Rizvi said that the matter would be taken to the court.

He said that dismissing these ‘absurd allegations’ alone would not resolve this issue anymore. “People of Pakistan will have to understand the secret political drama behind this,” he added.
