KARACHI: Pakistan All Star xi has won the toss and elected to bat first against the International World xi in the first T-20 being played at the National Stadium Karachi.
Ice will break as Pakistan XI take on an International World XI in the opening of two Twenty20 exhibition cricket matches at National Stadium under lights.
Dashing all-rounder Shahid Afridi will lead Pakistan XI while former Sri Lankan captain Sanath Jayasuriya will lead International XI.
Despite the exhibition status of the matches, it has generated a huge interest among the international cricket starved people of Pakistan.
This is for the first time since March 2, 2009 that some international cricketers are visiting Pakistan after terrorists attack on the bus carrying Sri Lankan players near Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
