Eva Mendes 'resentful' of Ryan Gosling's success after putting her career on hold?

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have reportedly hit a rough patch as the former regrets putting her career on hold to raise their kids.

According to In Touch Weekly, Mendes, who stepped back from acting to raise the couple’s daughters, is “still resentful” of the Barbie star as he promotes his latest film, The Fall Guy.

A source close to the situation noted that Mendes and Gosling are fighting over “expanding their family,” claiming they are “under a lot of pressure.”

“It’s hell at home. That’s why they’re so separate all of the time,” they added.

The insider went on to note that Mendes was “furious” after seeing Gosling posing with Blunt at events as the duo promotes their action comedy film, helmed by David Leitch.

“Eva was furious when she saw the photos of them together on the red carpet,” they said. Plus, Eva is still resentful over having to put acting on the backburner for Ryan to raise their kids.”

“A part of Eva thinks she should be in the spotlight on the red carpet promoting her own new movie. She’s feeling very insecure and has trust issues,” the source added.

“She adores being a mother and tries to support Ryan, but that doesn’t mean it’s not difficult at times. There are some nights at home where the two don’t even talk to each other. It’s gotten that bad.”
