Faulty venue makes Olivia Rodrigo upset amid tour

Olivia Rodrigo was all set to launch her U.K. leg of Guts World Tour at Co-Op Live. But, the first show in Manchester was cancelled due to a technical fault prompting the pop icon to apologize to her fans.

Taking to Instagram Story, the Obsessed singer explained to the fans about the reasons the May 3 and 4 concerts were postponed.

“I’ve been having such a great time in Europe so far and I’m sooooo disappointed that we’re unable to perform in Manchester due to ongoing technical issues,” she shared. “We’re doing our best to reschedule the show.” She added, “I’m so bummed and I really hope to see you all soon.”

Meanwhile, the Co-Op Live shared on social media, “Due to an ongoing venue-related technical issue, the scheduled performances of Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts world tour on May 3 and 4 are being postponed. Ticket-holders can either hold on to their tickets or obtain a refund at point of purchase.”

It is not the first time the venue — which has the capacity to hold over 23,500 persons — has cancelled a show.
