Timothee Chalamet has been penalised for his latest stunt at the London premiere of his movie A Complete Unknown.
According to Daily Mail, the 28-year-old actor, who made headlines on Wednesday, January 15, when he arrived to the London premiere of his biopic movie, based on Bob Dylan, on a Lime electric bike.
However, his unique stunt turned out to be a costly one for the Dune actor, who revealed that he was fined with £65 fine for not parking his e-bike correctly at BFI Southbank.
“There was a traffic jam,” the Wonka actor told the French chat show Quotidien, adding that he parked the e-bike in an area where he actually “wasn’t allowed” to park.
While talking to host, Yann Romain Barthès, Chalamet termed the incident “horrible."
The Bones and All actor has been on a mission of promoting A Complete Unknown movie in London.
The film, which was released in the US on December 25, 2024, is slated to release in London on January 17, 2025.
Directed by James Mangold, the biographical musical drama film portrays Chalamet as Dylan through his earliest folk music success until the controversy that took place at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.
Apart from Timothée Chalamet, A Complete Unknown also stars, Elle Fanning, Edward Norton, and Monica Barbaro.
