Barry Keoghan opens up about first meeting with Ringo Starr

Barry Keoghan has opened up about his first encounter with The Beatles drummer, Ringo Starr.

The 32-year-old actor, who is all set to portray a renowned musician in the upcoming biopic, revealed he was “nervous” during his first encounter with Ringo.

"I met him at his house, and he played the drums for me," said Keoghan during his appearance on the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

"He asked me to play, but I wasn't playing the drums for Ringo,” added the Saltburn actor.

Barry told the show’s host that he just watched Ringo to study his body language for the upcoming biopic.

"My job is to observe and kinda taken in mannerisms and study him. I want to humanize him and bring feelings to it and not just sort of imitate," said the Batman star.

It is pertinent to mention that the release date of the biopic has not been revealed yet.
