'Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning' receives surprising critic's verdict

Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible is appears to be at its conclusin with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

Following this, members of the press have given their honest feedback about the movie, calling it something with “sphincter-tightening set pieces, blockbusters do not get much better than this.”

The Hollywood actor starred in the ninth franchise alongside Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Simon Pegg and Hannah Waddingham.

Writing for Variety magazine, Simon Thompson wrote, “[‘Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning’] is whip-smart and razor-sharp, this tense eighth entry in one of the most exhilarating franchises of all time is another winner.”

While the off-screen founder, Kenzie Vanunu penned, “[‘Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning’] is a summer spectacle with nonstop adrenaline and me asking if Tom Cruise is OK the entire movie.”

In the American action spy movie a highly skilled agent Ethan Hunt, played by Cruise, working for a secret government agency, Impossible Mission Force, is destroying an all-powerful AI before it gets into the enemy's hand.

After eight installments across 28 years, the last franchise Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is set to be released in cinemas on May 21, 2025.
