Megan Thee Stallion has just now slammed a rumor that she is banned from the Met Gala after using a phone to film the 2025 Costume Institute Benefit event.

Despite the rule that phones are prohibited in the event, the American rapper recorded a video in which she said,  "We're not supposed to have our phones, but we're doing it [anyway]," while trying and reviewing foods with Angel Reese, a basketball player, and Doechii.

Moreover, she shared the clip with her fans by posting it on her Instagram account. In the time since, she was battling the rumor that she was banned from the event.

Recently, during an interview with People, the Whenever singer responded to the rumor by saying, "No. We're gonna dead these rumors right now, OK? People are like, 'Oh my God, Megan, you got banned from the Met Gala. No, I didn't, babe. Like that's not true."

Referring to her larger-than-life tired pony tailed look for the event, she said, "I wear at least 10-pound wigs all the time, I put a lot of bundles in my hair, so my neck is pretty strong."

"I'm surprised [my neck] doesn't have abs, but yeah. My hair was definitely light work. That was lightweight, that was a regular day," Stallion concluded before signing off.
