Prince Harry's Invictus Games Foundation on Thursday took to Twitter to highlight the work of BetterUp which "transformed the life" of a community member.
"As part of International Coaching Week, we wanted to spotlight one of our community members Liam Wakefield’s experience of coaching through BetterUp’s human transformation platform," said a statement on the website of the Invictus Games Foundation.
BetterUp, a for-profit coaching and mental health company hired the Duke of Sussex as its first chief impact officer, in 2021 a year after he stepped down as working member of the British royal family.
With a mission to "help everyone live with clarity, purpose and passion", BetterUp has partnered with notable organizations like the Invictus Games Foundation and Microsoft.
Harry's role focuses on driving advocacy and awareness for mental fitness, guiding the company's social mission and impact, influencing the platform's vision, and expanding BetterUp's global community.
BetterUp is a private, for-profit company while Harry's The Invictus Games Foundation is a registered charity in the UK.
It's likely that Harry's role at BetterUp comes with a salary. The Invictus Games post on Twitter, X, promoting BetterUp's might raise some eyebrows.
