Scarlett Johansson 'sticks to truth' about Justin Baldoni amid Blake Lively case

Scarlett Johansson has “stuck” to the truth and refused to throw Justin Baldoni under the bus amid his legal battle with Blake Lively.

Blake, who’s married to Scarlett’s ex-husband Ryan Reynolds, has accused the It Ends With Us director of sexual harassment and more. He denied the allegations and countersued her and Ryan for defamation.

In a new interview, the Black Widow actress was asked about Baldoni’s production company Wayfarer Studios backing her directorial debut Eleanor the Great.

In a defiant stance, she shared appreciation for Wayfarer Studios.

She first made a "loud, knowing laugh," and then indirectly acknowledged his legal battle, saying: "They were super supportive throughout the process… but yeah, such weird timing."

Sources say the actress could’ve avoided talking about Baldoni altogether, but chose to not throw him under the bus.

They told Hollywood insider Rob Shuter: "She had every right to put Justin on the no-go list – and she didn't. That speaks volumes."

"Scarlett didn't throw him under the bus,” remarked the mole.

"In fact, she went out of her way to praise his company, even as his world burns down,” they explained.

Another source noted that the Lucy star said the truth even though it could get her backlash.

They explained: "She knew it would raise eyebrows. But she stuck to the truth: he supported her film."

Scarlett Johansson will soon be seen in the lead role in Jurassic World Rebirth.
