Royal House: Heir's family celebrates national day

The  Norwegian royal family's Constitution Day celebrations are in full swing and it has shared pictures of its members attending the festivities. 

The social media accounts of the family shared a clip of Crown Prince family greeting the children's train in Asker outside Skaugum this morning as part of the celebrations.

May 17 marks the Constitution Day, a national holiday, which commemorates the signing of the Norwegian Constitution in 1814. 

The royal family participates in traditional festivities, including greeting the children's parade from the balcony of the Royal Palace in Oslo. 

Pictures of Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and Prince Sverre Magnus were shared on Instagram as they gathered outside their palace to witness children's parade.
