Justin Baldoni begins to feel financial weight of Blake Lively case

Justin Baldoni’s family pal has revealed how he’s coping with the financial and emotional toll of the legal battle against Blake Lively.

The It Ends with Us actor-director was accused of sexual harassment and a hostile work environment by Blake, who starred opposite him in the film.

According to his pal, he and his wife Emily have "leaning on a tight circle of loyal friends" amid the court battle.

“The lawsuit drama is causing stress for both of them, but their marriage is solid and they are actually closer than ever,” they said of the marriage.

Baldoni, who was also accused of orchestrating a smear campaign against Blake, countersued the actress and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for defamation, extortion, and more.

The trials for both cases in Lively v. Wayfarer Studios et al. are scheduled for March 2026, which is too far for Baldoni, who’s being financially drained by the legal fees.

“March still feels very far away,” the family friend revealed. “He’s certainly feeling the financial and emotional weight of his legal fight.”

The source noted that despite the challenges, the Jane the Virgin alum is “a very positive guy," and "believes things will work out for the best.”

"He’s been spending time with his wife, family, and close friends as much as ever,” another friend of the actor told the publication. "He’s always had a small circle close to him, and that hasn’t changed."

Another source claimed that he isn’t phased about the financial burden of the case, saying, "He is very confident in his legal team.”

Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s feud was first noticed by fans during their promotional tour for It Ends with Us. The duo didn’t do any interviews together, and two clear teams were seen during the premiere of the film.
