King Charles, Prince Harry reconciliation: Major new update revealed

A friend of King Charles has shared major new update about ongoing rift between King Charles and his estranged son Prince Harry.

Speaking to the Telegraph, a friend of King Charles revealed that the monarch’s rift with Prince Harry is so "tender" that he does not even discuss it with friends.

The insider claimed: "It seems to me one of those things that, if you wanted to have a cheerful evening or cheerful lunch, is probably best not to mention."

Regarding reconciliation, the friend says King Charles is "bemused by Harry's repeated airing of laundry," adding that Prince William, Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla are not in favour of reunion.

The insider told the publication, "As long as William, Kate and Camilla have a say in the matter, Harry will be left out in the Californian wilderness."

The fresh claims came days after Prince Harry’s latest interview with BBC, where the duke talked about reconciliation with his family.

In the interview, Harry expressed a desire for reconciliation with the royal family, particularly his father King Charles, after losing a legal battle over security in the UK.

The duke says King Charles "won't speak to me because of this security stuff", but that he did not want to fight any more and did "not know how much longer my father has".

According to BBC, Harry said: "I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point."

"There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family," he added, but had now "forgiven" them.

"I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious," said Archie and Lilibet father, who said the dispute over his security had "always been the sticking point".
