Renée Zellweger, Ant Anstead's rep breaks silence on rumours of their split

Renée Zellweger and Ant Anstead have sparked rumors of a split as the couple has not been seen together in months.

Following this, several sources reported that they both are living separately due to the television presenter’s financial condition.

For those unversed, Anstead is currently facing bankruptcy for his company, Radfords Motors, and several lawsuits demanding over $3 million.

In a recent interview with People, the couple’s representatives candidly discussed the reason why the lovebirds are spending time separately.

“Sadly, the recent reports in the press are disrespectful and misleading," the rep responded.

They told the outlet that the 46-year-old media personality “stayed just a handful of days in Julia French’s separate, and detached, guest house. They have been long-time friends with similar aged children within a circle of local Laguna Beach friends.”

Recently, Anstead was spotted staying overnight with his divorcee friend, Julia French, at her Laguna Beach home.

As Zellweger is busy filming Only Murders in the Building in New York city, while he has been “spending the majority of his time working in the U.K.”

Before concluding, the rep shared that they “remain in a cherished relationship that they ask to keep private.”
