Chris Pratt has paid tribute to his Parks and Recreation co-star Jonathan Joss after his death.

Jonathan passed away at the age of 59 on Sunday, after being shot and killed during a dispute near his home in San Antonio, Texas. Notably, Jonathan Joss’ husband Tristan Kern de Gonzales was present when the horrible incident took place.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Monday, Chris shared a screenshot of Jonathan's passing report and penned a heartfelt tribute.

Remembering the late actor, Chris wrote, “Damn. RIP Jonathan.”

"Always such a king dud," the Marvel star added.

Chris Pratt went on to write, "Sad to see. Prayers up. Hug your loved ones."

It is worth mentioning that People Magazine also reported that the Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman expressed heartbreak over the news. 

Calling it a 'terrible tragedy,' the actor revealed the cast's heartbreak over the news.

"The cast has been texting together about it all day and we’re just heartbroken. Jonathan was such a sweet guy and we loved having him as our Chief Ken Hotate. A terrible tragedy," Nick told the outlet.
