Ricki Lake spills the tea on cosmetic surgery

Ricki Lake has opened up about her recent cosmetic surgery after revealing she got a face and neck lift.

On the Thursday, June 12 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the 56-year-old American actress and television host was complimented on how amazing she looked by Cohen.

After being praised, Lake shared that she started changing her look six years ago after struggling with hair loss, as she shaved her head and let her hair grow without using any hair dye.

She said, “I’ve also had, and I’ll reveal this to you [although] I’ve told other people. I’ve had a lower face and neck lift.”

The Where the Day Takes You star went on to put her hands under her chin to show her jawline, prompting Cohen to remark she looks “so good.”

Responding to his praise, she quipped, “Thank you, I kind of think it’s the best facelift I’ve ever seen. And my doctor, let me give a shout out because he’s a genius. Dr. Allen Foulad is the best, and I’ve sent many people to him.”

The Dancing with the Stars alum added, “I love that I can talk about it. I’m fully transparent, always have been. I don’t want there to be any stigma. This is something that was bothering me."

“I lost a lot of weight and I had this certain thing hanging and I had it fixed,” Ricki Lake concluded.
