Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are not expected to attend King Charles' birthday parade third year in a row.
The snub comes from the royal family amid the Duke of Sussex's attempt to mend ties with them, per People Magazine.
King Charles' official birthday celebration—one of the royal family's most high-profile annual events—is due this Saturday in London.
The decision to proceed without Meghan and Prince Harry is a pattern set ever since Charles became monarch in 2022.
The Sussexes last attended Trooping the Colour during Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in June 2022 even though they were kept out of the public spotlight.
The couple watched the parade from a separate room alongside other non-working royals and did not join the traditional balcony appearance.
Prince Harry also recently lost a legal bid to reinstate his state-funded security in the U.K.
Last month, the Duke of Sussex protested in a BBC interview that he can't imagine bringing his wife and their two children—Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4—to Britain given the prevailing circumstances.
