Blake Lively has filed a motion to bar Justin Baldoni's legal team's "continuing demands" for her private communications with Taylor Swift.
According to court documents, Lively's attorney Esra Hudson has alleged that Baldoni's request is a "tactic ... to make Ms. Swift and her fan base central to their media strategy against Ms. Lively."
The letter further asked the court to relieve [Lively] "from producing documents responsive to" Baldoni's discovery requests involving Swift.
The court has not yet ruled on Lively’s motion for a protective order.
Baldoni previously dropped his document subpoena issued to the Grammy winner last month.
Lively's recent court motion comes two days after Judge Lewis Liman dismissed Baldoni's $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds and a $250 million libel lawsuit against the New York Times.
