John Cena ruled out his WWE comeback and confirmed it’s finally the end of his journey.

In a recent chat on Good Morning America on June 25, the 48-year-old wrestling star told Michael Strahan there's "no way" he’ll return to the WWE ring after his final match in December.

"There is no way. I don't want to speak in absolutes, because I don't want to close any opportunity, but I made a promise to the fans who allowed me to be here for a quarter of a century,” Cena noted.

Moreover, the wrestler-turned-actor admitted his WWE fans are the reason for his successful career in wrestling.

"I wouldn't want to disrespect them like that," he confessed when asked about his possibly of wrestling again in the future.

"This is an event that I want people to attend," Cena continued. "It's very exclusive, the moments I share with them. I wouldn't want to ruin that for selfish gain.

Cena is currently promoting his new film Heads of State, which is all set to release on July 2.

The WWE star first announced his retirement during a surprise appearance at WWE’s Money in the Bank event back in July 2024
