Scheana Shay opens up about her past with Eddie Cibrian in new Memoir 'My Good Side'

Scheana Shay, Vanderpump Rules star, reveals an exciting side of her ex-boyfriend, Eddie Cibrian, in her upcoming memoir My Good Side.

In an excerpt shared with Entertainment Weekly, Shay opened up about how she fell for actor Eddie Cibrian, and claims she “didn’t see a single red flag.”

She recalls encountering Cibrian back in 2006, soon after graduating and moving to Los Angeles. At that time, she began her job at a private members' cigar lounge and restaurant, a hotspot for A-list celebrities, directors, writers, and actors, and that is where the two first met.

Explaining her instant attraction towards him, she wrote, “If you were to ask me when I was growing up what my exact type was, to a tee it was Eddie—tall, dark, and handsome, with dimples. The second we made eye contact, he smiled at me with those dimples, and I melted. How could I not? He’s undeniably a gorgeous human.”

“Eddie was the sweetest, funniest, most charismatic, consummate gentleman I’d ever met. He always made me feel like I was the only girl in the room when I was working,” she added.

The reality star explained that why she didn’t realise he was already married, “He never wore a wedding ring, so I assumed he was single. … This was pre–social media, so it wasn’t like he was posting pics of his family in matching pajamas in front of a Christmas tree.”

However, she recalls that she never visited Cibrian’s house, writing, "Did I think it was weird that I never went to his house? No! He lived in Calabasas, supposedly. And I certainly wasn’t making the trek to Calabasas in 2007, when Ubers didn’t exist, and I had less than $1,000 to my name.”

Eventually, Scheana wrote that a colleague at the cigar lounge informed her that Cibrian was married. “I didn’t believe it (or maybe I didn’t want to believe it) because I was wild about Eddie.”

Shay wasn’t the only person Cibrian was involved with outside his marriage to Brandi Glanville. He started dating LeAnn Rimes, who is an American actor, while he was still married.

Later, in 2010 Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian got divorced, they share two sons Mason and Jake.
