Inside Kim Cattrall's love story with long-time partner Russell Thomas

Kim Cattrall and Russell Thomas stepped into new chapter of their lives as husband and wife after dating for nearly 10 years.

The couple first met in 2016, when Thomas was working at BBC and Cattrall appeared on an episode of the BBC’s Woman’s Hour.

Reflecting on that time, Cattrall in 2020 told the People magazine, “We kind of liked each other, we kept in touch and then he came out to Vancouver.”

Comparing to her former relationships, she gushed about Thomas saying that her bond with him was “gradual" instead of "instinctual. I love him,” she said. “And he was worth waiting for.”

Revealing to The Times, Cattrall shared that her long-time love has had a busy career.

“He was an actor originally. He’s had an incredibly interesting life and really done it on his terms. He’s a bit of a rebel, which I love,” she says.

The couple, who are now husband and wife hosted a small ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall to celebrate their nuptials, with just 12 guests in attendance.

The Cattrall announced their wedding news with a single black and white snapshot from the celebration.

Cattrall wore gorgeous ensemble that consisted of a Dior suit, gloves and a hat. Thomas donned a custom Richard James suit.
