Teyana Taylor stuns with unexpected remarks on Kanye West controversies

Teyana Taylor is the latest celebrity to address Kanye West’s increasingly controversial antics, describing him as one of her “brothers”.

In her latest profile for Vanity Fair, the current awards frontrunner said that while she may not agree with the contentious music mogul on everything, she would never “abandon” him.

“I don’t have to agree with everything that he do or say, but I’m not going to, like, abandon him and be like, ‘Yeah, eff that motherf*****,’ ” said the One Battle After Another star.

“My brothers do s*** that I don’t agree with. … I don’t get into none of that.”

Further making her feelings on the subject clear, the singer and actress added, “If you want a real answer, you ask me. So if he asks me something, he knows he’s gonna get a real answer.”

Taylor, 35, shared the aforementioned claims in response to a question about her working with West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, on Ryan Murphy’s All’s Fair TV series.

“I do my s*** behind the scenes and do what I need to do to help,” she continued. “I’m in my business and I drink my water.”

Teyana Taylor first collaborated with Kanye West when she was signed by his music label G.O.O.D. back in 2012. The newly minted Golden Globe winner later appeared in the music video for his single Fade, from the 2016 album, The Life of Pablo.
