Zara Tindall shuts down nanny speculation with parenting truth

Zara Tindall is doing parenthood her own way and she made it clear that there’s no royal style nanny in charge of her brood.

The daughter of Princess Anne and her former husband Captain Mark Phillips is mother to three lively children Mia, 10, Lena, seven, and Lucas, four, whom she raises with her ex-England rugby star husband Mike Tindall.

While royal fans have been buzzing about Prince William and Princess Kate’s nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo recently awarded a Royal Victorian Medal (Silver) in the New Year Honours,

Zara has set the record straight on her own childcare setup.

After the birth of Mia in 2014, she laughed off reports claiming Dolly Maude, her close friend, was her nanny.

Dolly, who has four of her own children, had simply accompanied Zara to a couple of competitions and lent a helping hand but she was never a full-time nanny.

She also revealed that full-time parenting isn’t something she puts on hold.

“I am a full-time mother!” she said. She added that as the kids grow, it becomes easier to resume her own activities, proving that juggling motherhood and life off the field is all part of her game plan.
