More photos of Mike Vrabel, Dianna Russini emerge: What do they show?

Newly resurfaced photos reveal New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel with NFL reporter Dianna Russini at a New York City bar in March 2020, igniting fresh scrutiny.

The photos emerged after the Arizona resort scandal, which took place in March 2024, became public knowledge.

The exclusive images, released Thursday, April 23, showcase the pair sitting together, spotted inside the dimly lit Tribeca Tavern in the early hours of March 11, 2020.

In one of the images, they even shared an intimate moment.

At that time, Vrabel was married to his wife Jen, with whom he has two children.

The new images show Vrabel and Russini sitting side by side at the bar throughout the evening.

Insiders reveal that the pair stayed at the “hole in the wall” bar from around midnight until at least 1:00 a.m.

The sources stated: “They were having a glorious time.”

Just moments before her meeting at the bar, Russini uploaded a picture of herself at ESPN's New York studios, where she was employed at the time, with an amusing comment that she was heading to a bar.

In a statement, Vrabel said: “As I said the other day, I promised my family, this organisation and this team that I was going to be the best version of me.”

“This is not an easy thing for me to admit, but it is one that I know will make me a better person,” he added.

This initial batch of pictures, which depict Vrabel and Russini holding hands, embracing each other, and relaxing poolside at an Arizona resort on March 28 this year, came to light on April 7.

In the wake of these pictures, Russini quit from her job as a senior NFL reporter for The Athletic amid the publication’s ongoing probe into the matter.

While Vrabel, who has bagged three Super Bowl victories playing as a linebacker for the Patriots, prepares for his second stint as New England’s head coach, he will be missing the team’s eight Day 3 draft picks.
