Carla Jeffery’s twin brother Carlon Jeffery has shared the heartbreaking final message he sent to the Disney actress before her sudden death at the age of 33 on September 1, 2026. 

The beloved actress’s brother shared a screenshot of the text exchange between the siblings in which expressed his love for Carla and told her how proud he was of her: “I love you to the moon and back sis.”

Carlon, 33, also told the Zombies star to call her back stating that he wanted to know how her day had been.

In the emotional text, Carlos told Carla: “You are truly a light that shines bright. Don’t let anyone dim that light … not even you. The light you carry is precious and must be protected at all times.”

He concluded, "I got your back in thsis life and the next."

The actress suddenly died making it an emotional final exchange between siblings.

Carla’s death was confirmed by her longtime manager Carla Alexander who had a two-decade relationship with the Disney star.

Alexander described Carla as a “beautiful, vibrant, incredibly talented woman” and said her smile could light up any room.

Her cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.

Carla and Carlon were born in 1993 and both pursued careers in entertainment. While Carla became known for ZOMBIES, Carlon was also a Disney actor, playing Cameron Parks in A.N.T. Farm.

Carla began acting when she was just 12, making her film debut in Phat Girlz in 2006. She later appeared in iCarly, Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Scream Queens and other television productions before landing her famed role in ZOMBIES.

Following news of her death, former co-stars and fans flooded social media with tributes, remembering her for her warmth and positive personality.
