Harry, Meghan bold move against royal family earns praise despite U-turn

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle earned praise for their bold move against the royal family despite their U-turn.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who quit royal life in 2020, have returned to the UK alongside their kids Archie and Lilibet for an extended period.

However, a former colleague and the Sussexes' supporter lauded the couple for their life-changing decision to step down from their active working roles.

An Iranian-American businesswoman, Mandana Dayani, who was the president of Harry and Meghan's Archewell organisation for almost a year, showered praise on the couple.

As per Daily Mail's Richard Eden, she revealed that the reason behind working for the Sussexes was their "dissent against this institution [the monarchy]."

Mandana added, "Watching them dissent against this institution and say, 'This isn’t right for us', that to me felt really brave. I had a lot of respect for how they had the courage to do that, because I think that’s really hard to do.
