Palace on alert over William, Kate's ties with Tom Cruise: Here's why

Prince William and Princess Kate's recent encounter rang alarm bells inside the Palace due to a very sensitive reason.

The Prince and Princess of Wales reunited with Hollywood icon Tom Cruise at the London premiere of his film Digger.

The actor, as always, appeared to be delighted and beaming, sharing the same space as Princess Catherine. He held her hand while the trio were on the stairs.

This reunion became talk of the town in no time.

Now, an insider told Rob Shutter that the growing association of Tom with the future King and Queen left King Charles' team worried.

"Nobody is worried Catherine is going to run off with Tom Cruise. They’re worried about Scientology getting anywhere near the future king and queen. That is a completely different matter," the source shared.

It is important to note that the monarchy's religious standing matters a lot.
