CPLC, Sindh Police recover kidnapped 10 year old
KARACHI: The Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and Sindh Police rescued a 10 year old boy who was kidnapped on Tuesday.

The 10 year old boy was kidnapped from outside his home as he returned from school with his sister. The family approached CPLC and filed a report with Yusuf Plaza PS.

According to CPLC sources, a technical investigation identified the victims maternal uncle, Iqbal as a possible suspect.

A joint interrogation was conducted by CPLC and Sindh Police during which Iqbal confessed to his involvement and intentions of extracting money from his brother-in-law. On the basis of Iqbal's interrogation a raid was conducted at the hideout but the suspects managed to escape along with the victim.

Investigators in Karachi then found clues that the kidnappers were onboard a moving train near Raiwind, Punjab. Immediately the Punjab Police was contacted and a police party arrested the wanted men from the train.

The accused revealed during interrogation that the child was still in Karachi at a house in Nazimabad. A team raided the house and found the child bound and gagged all alone.

An FIR has been registered against the child’s maternal uncle, Iqbal at the Yusuf Plaza PS in Karachi.
