Verdict reserved in Nawaz NAB references

LAHORE: A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has reserved its verdict on a petition seeking dismissal of three National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references against Nawaz Sharif, Geo News reported Monday.

PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif had filed a petition to discharge NAB references regarding Hudaibiya Paper Mills, Itifaaq Foundation and illegal assets in Raiwand.

The lawyers of NAB and Sharif have completed their arguments. NAB lawyer Chaudry Riaz has claimed that the trial court should give verdict in the case.

However, Nawaz has never challenged the proofs provided by NAB.
