KARACHI: Two more people fell prey to targeted killings in different parts of the city, pushing the death toll to 12 on Wednesday, Geo News reported.
Unknown assailants shot dead a trader in Boltan Market and managed to flee. Traders closed their businesses and protested over the killing. Sources said the man was apparently killed by extortionists.
In another incident, a man was gunned down in Ferozabad area of the metropolis. Identities of the deceased were yet to be known.
With the latest killings in Bolton Market, Ferozabad and Landhi the death toll climbed to 12 in a single day of violence on Wednesday.
