Election Commission orders removal of political wall chalking and billboards by Monday
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set Monday as the deadline for the removal of political wall chalking and billboards.

According to the ECP, directives have been issued to the provincial election commissioner and chief secretary for the removal of billboards and wall chalking. If billboards and wall chalking are not removed the concerned DCO and DPO will be held responsible.

Meanwhile a meeting to discuss the deployment of the army during the elections will be held on Friday. Secretary Election Commission Ishtiaque Ahmed will represent the ECP in this meeting which will take place at the GHQ in Rawalpindi. According to sources, the ECP is seeking more army deployment during the elections as compared to past polls.
