Dismissal of Musharraf's candidature is drama: Fazl

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman has termed rejection of Pervez Musharraf's nomination papers from three constituencies and approval from another constituency as a planned drama.

Talking to Geo News here on Tuesday, Moulana Fazl ur Rehman said that there is no reason of postponement of elections.

Enthusiasm was witnessed in tribal areas prior to the elections, he said, adding that if there is no fear in the region then why it exists in the settled areas.

He further said that objections were raised against Ulemas who teach Hadiths while people like Musarrat Shaheen got the ‘certificate of purity’ in scrutiny process.
