ISLAMABAD: On the directives of the Supreme Court (SC), the electricity distributing companies including Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) have issued the schedule to carry out equal electricity loadshedding in the country, Geo News reported.
Domestic, Commercial, Industrial and tube well consumers would have to bear 10 hours of load shedding.
LESCO Chef Engineer Muhammad Saleem told Geo news that the one-hour power load shedding would be carried out in alternate hours during the day while in evening the consumers would get little relief as an hour load shedding would be carried out after two hours of power supply.
The supply of electricity to textile would remain suspended from 2 PM till midnight. Tube well consumers would bear power outage from 10 PM till 8 AM, the LESCO chief added.
The load shedding scheduled has been issued for Karachi to Peshawar under the directives of the apex court.
