15 criminals held, arms recovered in Karachi

KARACHI: Rangers held fifteen criminals and seized arms and ammunition from their possession during targeted operation in different areas of Karachi, Geo News reported Monday.

According to Rangers’ spokesman Syed Sibtain, Rangers carried out raids in Afshani Gali - Lyari, Drigh Colony, 36/G area of Landhi, Sector 5/F and 5/E of New Karachi, North Nazimabad Block N, FC Area, Vita Chowrangi in Korangi, Green Town, Iqbal Nagar in Gaddap and Gulshan e Iqbal Block 17 areas.

During operations, fifteen miscreants were arrested while arms were also recovered from their possession.

Late on Sunday night, raids were also conducted in Gadap and Gulshan-e-Iqbal while snap checking was also carried out in Badar Commercial area of Defence and University Road, the spokesman added.
