Cop among two killed in Swat firing

SWAT: Two persons including a policeman were killed and three others sustained injuries when unknown gunmen opened fire on a car in Swat on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

Sources told that the assailants opened fire on a car in Barabandai area of Tehsil Kabal that injured five passengers of the car. They were being shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital when two injured succumbed to their injuries on their way.

The victims included a policeman Noorul Abideen. The injured also included a cop.

Police and other security forces have launched a search operation after the incident.
