Police round up several suspects from Sohrab Goth

KARACHI: Police on Wednesday took several suspects into custody during a search operation conducted in Sohrab Goth area of the megapolis.

According to reports, women were allegedly manhandled by policemen during the search operation.

Search operation was conducted on reports of suspected criminals’ presence in the area. As many as 400 police commandos, led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar, took part in the raid.

Several suspects were taken into custody for interrogation but not even a single female cop participated in the search operation.
