While the stars of the world arrived at the 69th Cannes festival dressed to the nines, Julia Roberts showed up at the event with bare-feet.
The Oscar award winner actress walked the red carpet with so much ease it seemed as if she was gliding on it.
The actress, who shot to fame with her movie “Pretty Woman” in 1990, arrived at the Cannes premiere of her movie Money Monster ditching shoes for good.

According to reports, last year due to dress code limitations, some middle-aged women were allegedly turned away at the festival for not wearing heels. The act of fashion-rebellion from the actress seems to be a part of the move to deviate from the strict dress code policies at events.
Also, it was reported that the actress was wearing heels initially, but took them off later while entering the premiere.
The actress isn't the only star to show up at events barefoot. Other celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Kristen Stewart, and Zooey Deschanel have also been spotted shoe-less at famous events.
