Priyanka Chopra isn't pleased with the demand for a blanket ban on Pakistani artistes working in India.

Priyanka said it is unfair to target artistes, saying it is unjustified that they have to bear the brunt.

The actress is one of a few voices in Bollywood who have expressed support for Pakistani actors. Earlier, Salman Khan and Om Puri also advocated that art should be kept separate from politics.

Following the Uri attack, it has become extremely difficult for Pakistani actors to work in Bollywood.  Extremist party MNS issued an ultimatum for Pakistani actors to leave India, while the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) has passed a motion prohibiting artistes from across the border to work in the industry.

Cinema owners and Exhibitors Association of India has also announced that it will not screen movies which have Pakistani actors in four states-Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa and Gujarat.
