CM Sindh, Corps Commander Karachi review NAP, call apex committee session

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah met Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar on Wednesday where they decided to summon an apex committee session in the first week of November.

Murad Ali Shah and Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar discussed the security situation in Karachi along with the rest of the province following the terrorist attack on police training college in Quetta on Monday, in which 61 security personnel were martyred and over 117 injured.

They also reviewed implementation of the National Action Plan and discussed progress in targeted operations.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said on the occasion that those challenging the government’s writ would be dealt with an iron hand.
