Marvel dropped a brand new trailer for its upcoming superhero movie Captain Marvel.

The newest trailer shows Captain Marvel aka Carol Danvers demonstrating to Nick Fury that she can handle herself amid an impending war. To prove that she is not one of the shape-shifting, villainous Skrulls, Danvers shoots a photon blast to prove to Fury that she is one of the good guys.

"I've never seen anything like her," Fury later says to one of his colleagues. The trailer also references the film's period setting, the 1990s, as Fury notes to Danvers, "Grunge is a good look on you."

The new trailer also shows off a bit more of Jude Law's role in the upcoming film as a Kree warrior. Moreover, the minute-long trailer also shows agent Phil Coulson wondering whether there might be other heroes out there like her.

“You think you can find others?” Coulson asks Fury. “She’s just the beginning,” Fury replies.
