At Pak vs NZ, Malala's shout-out had Hollywood gushing

Pakistani actor Adnan Malik's shout-out at the Pakistan-New Zealand cricket match had Hollywood buzzing with excitement.

At the World Cup 2019 encounter, on Wednesday, the actor posted a short video clip on social media. "My favorite thing about Booksmart the movie is…” he said, looking straight into the camera, which then pans to Malala Yousafzai, who adds: "Malala"

In the Hollywood production, Booksmart, the protagonists, two high-school teenagers use 'Malala' as a code word to get the others to agree to their plan.

Soon after the video was posted, the movie stars Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever expressed their exuberance for getting mentioned by the Nobel laureate.

Even the director, Olivia Wilde, took to Twitter to express her enthusiasm. 

Malik was pictured watching the cricket match with Malala Yousafzai, APS survivor Walid Khan and Ali Tareen.
