ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Monday arrested an alleged terrorist from sector G-6/1 and recovered four hand grenades from his possession, a police source said.
He said that City Zone police and Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) wing of Islamabad police nabbed this terrorist from sector G-61/1 who has been identified as Qari Inayat. He has links with Sardar Ali Khattak who is allegedly involved in various terrorism activities in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, the Anti-Terrorism Court Rawalpindi granted 7-day physical remand of five terrorists arrested by Islamabad police on Saturday. They were identified as Mohsin, Qari Arshad Kamran, Qari Imam Din, Qari Qayyum and Afzal.
