Bukhari upset over dropping of Afridi, Sarfraz
KARACHI: Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) has expressed their disappointment over the dropping of star all-rounder Shahid Afridi and talented wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed from the One-day squad of Pakistan team's tour to India.

" KCCA is upset over dropping of Afridi and Sarfraz from the One-day squad," KCCA President Syed Sirajul Islam Bukhari said in statement issued on Tuesday.

Shahid Afridi was dropped from One-day squad but was retained in Pakistan's Twenty International squad. Sarfraz Ahmed was not considered in any of the squad.

He said former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi is an experienced campaigner and should have been in the team in this pressure series.

"Sarfraz did reasonably well in the President's trophy with bat and gloves with 40 victims and 424 runs. Sarfraz also did well in the last T20 matches after missing two games," Bukhari added.

However, was delighted with the inclusion of paceman Anwar Ali in both One-day and Twenty20 teams.

KCCA President appealed to Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for his reviewing the team for the benefit of the team. (APP)
